30 artists will be selected for a round of showcases which will be judged by a panel of judges, from which 10 artists will be selected to move on to the next round. From these 10 artists, Loretta Lynn's management will select a winner to open for Loretta at her show in Hurricane Mills, TN on May 26th.
Performing Writer has been one of Music City, USA's premier acoustic showcases for more than three years. The primary location for showcases is at The Fillin' Station in Kingston Springs, TN.
The promoter will consider genres including Pop, Folk, Bluegrass, Americana, Acoustic Rock, etc. If you hear it on country or pop radio, Performing Writer may have already featured the writer of the song in their show.
