Summary

During Film Festival Week in Park City, Utah, every January, Access Film-Music hosts live music showcases at venues in the heart of historic Main Street, including The Spur Bar & Grill and Wasatch Brew Pub. Launched in 2004, this event has grown year after year and has successfully helped musical artists place their music in films and television programs. They strive to present exceptional independent songwriters and musicians from around the world to film-makers, directors, producers, music supervisors, and others working in the visual media arts.



Sponsors for their January 2012 event included Big Ugly Music and Media, Pravda Music Publishing, the Slamdance Film Festival, Park City Television, KRCL 91FM Radio Free Utah, and more. Their Film Festival CD Samplers were distributed through official "goodie bags" to credentialed film-makers at Slamdance film festival and through Park City TV. Access Film-Music Showcase is an independent event, not affiliated with or sanctioned by the Sundance Film Festival or Sundance Institute.



10 music showcase slots during the 2013 Access Film-Music Showcase will be reserved for Sonicbids members. Sonicbids artists that are selected for the 2013 Access Film-Music Showcase will be offered two 50 minute showcase opportunities and will be featured on the Access Film-Music website, as well as promotional materials and press releases. Selected artists will be invited to broadcast their music on AccessFMRadio.net, their online radio network featuring highlights from the extensive Access Film-Music Library. In addition to AccessFMRadio.net, they also deliver music to key decision makers in the visual media via podcasts, CD compilations and other delivery methods. Each month until Film Festival Week 2013, one or more Sonicbids artists will receive the "Access Spotlight" on the AccessFilmMusic.net homepage and AccessFMRadio.net, focusing the film industry's attention on these select exceptional artists. This is a great opportunity to perform live during film festival week and network with film industry professionals.
