Supercuts – Rock the Cut Artist Ambassador Program

Can your band make the “cut” with the Supercuts – Rock the Cut promotion? Supercuts is looking for 1,000 up-and-coming artists to be featured on their Rock the Cut music download site. Log on monthly to your social media networks to spread the word about your music on the Supercuts download website. Submissions are free, courtesy of Supercuts so enter Rock the Cut today!

How it Works
Bands can submit their electronic press kit and song of their choosing, courtesy of Supercuts, through February 15, 2012 or until 2,000 applications have been submitted, whichever comes first. All applications will be reviewed and selected bands will be notified via phone, email, or mail on or about February 28, 2012. Please note that bands will be required to accept all terms and conditions of the promotion prior to submitting press kit and song.

Selected bands will be featured with their photo, bio and submitted song on rockthecut.supercuts.com where Supercuts consumers will be able to view the band bios and download the songs. Supercuts will run a national advertising campaign featuring the Rock the Cut promotion and will play selected bands’ music in more than 2,000 salons. Each month of the promotion, Supercuts will provide one social media outreach message for each band to share with their Facebook, Twitter and email database.

If your band is a current member of Sonicbids as of 1/19/12, click on the Supercuts “Rock the Cut” Artist Ambassador Promotion Login tab, enter Band’s Sonicbids username and password, click “Submit”, submit one (1) recording of an original musical composition written, recorded, performed and produced by one or more current Band Members (collectively, including both the musical composition and recording, the “Band Song”), complete and accept the required fields for Promotion application/participation, and if Band’s current EPK does not include a Band photograph, Band photograph title and short description about the Band, Band will be required to upload one (1) Band photograph, provide title for Band photograph, and provide a short description describing the Band as a requirement of application, and click “Submit.” Information included in the Band’s Sonicbids profile and EPK will be used by Sponsor for purposes of identification and Promotion application / administration in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy available here: http://www.supercuts.com/PrivacyPolicy/default.asp. Applications will be accepted between 12:01 a.m. EST on 1/19/12 through 11:59 p.m. EST on 2/15/12 or until 2,000 applications have been submitted, whichever occurs first (“Application Period”). Sponsor reserves the right to extend the submission window if 1,000 suitable submissions have not been received by the end of the initial Application Period. Limit one (1) application or song per ban
