What’s at stake WILL change the winning band’s career. The Grand Prize Winner will:


  • Headline a live concert at their local maurices

  • Travel to Los Angeles to shoot their own music video

  • Receive prizes from maurices

  • Opportunity to perform during a maurices branded daytime showcase at SXSW 2012 in Austin, Texas



How it Works

Bands can submit for free, courtesy of maurices. In January, all eligible bands will be added to a round of public voting at http://www.mauricesmusic.sonicbids.com, where they’ll get their music in front of millions of visitors to the site and get their fans to help them reach the next round by voting.



At the end of the first round of voting, the Top 50 bands will move on and be reviewed by a panel of esteemed music industry judges, who will then select the Top 4 bands. These 4 finalists will have their music featured in maurices stores and on the mauricesmusic site in February for another round of voting to determine the Grand Prize Winner.
