“Independent publication/website The Deli Magazine is running 8 separate "Year End Best of Polls" for emerging artists in 8 local scenes: Chicago, Portland, New England, San Francisco, Austin, Philadelphia, Washington D.C./Baltimore, and Nashville. Three Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to be selected from each of these cities and to be interviewed and featured on TheDeliMagazine.com’s scene blog for that region. The Deli Magazine is a daily updated website covering 10 local music scenes through separate blogs/websites and two quarterly publication (exclusively focused on the NYC and LA scenes). If you’re an artist from New York or Los Angeles, you can submit to a separate NYC listing located here and LA listing located here.



The primary goal of The Deli is to expose local musical artists that have not yet reached a level of international fame. In the last few years The Deli's Poll have rewarded artists including Vampire Weekend, Yeasayer, Local Natives, Girls, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Chairlift, Vivian Girls, Bear in Heaven, Crystal Stilts, The Antlers, Sleigh Bells and Real Estate.”
