Bio

Lloyd Mac Hardy, a Nova Scotia singer/songwriter, speaks to the hearts of working people. Using songs built from a life time of experiences with the folks of this country. A real bard, cut from the fabric of Canadian life.
Writing and playing songs for most of the last 30 years, Lloyd started performing at the request of the Harbour Folk Society in Halifax-Dartmouth, N.S. From this historic stage in eastern Canada, Lloyd found his voice. It was on this stage that Lloyd met and became friends with Ed McCurdy, writer of that famous song "Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream". Ed would invite Lloyd to come and perform his songs at events Ed was hosting. One only got to perform at these functions with Ed's invitation. Lloyd got to meet Folk Singer/Songwriter Rod MacDonald at one of these functions.Lloyd's presentation has found a home in many coffee houses, Variety and benefitshows, as well as festivals around Nova Scotia.

Lloyd was invited to play Stanfest 2009 in Canso, Nova Scotia, and was well received.

Lloyd appeared on CBC television in the series "The Week The Women Left (Tatamagouche), which is still being aired.
