Java With Javelyn Indie Music Compilation CD, Volume 2

X-IT RITE RECORDS presents "Java With Javelyn Indie Music Volume 2" Compilation CD!





GUIDELINES:

X-It Rite Records is calling for unsigned and artists/bands to submit their best songs in competition for possible inclusion on the "Java With Javelyn Indie Music, Volume 2" compilation CD. If selected, your music will appear on the Volume 2 compilation CD that will be distributed directly to music industry creative executives in A&R, music publishing, film & TV music as well as artist managers, record producers, music attorneys, radio programmers and some of the most cutting-edge independent music executives open to net talent and music. The CD will also be promoted and sold at Java With Javelyn events (Los Angeles), online and some retail outlets. We also are aggressively moving the CDs to new fans/supporters for YOUR music - so we're looking for the best we can brag about and become more involved with at a national level.

Selected artists will receive 50 free copies of the CD that are yours to distribute as you see fit. This will allow all of the artists/bands on the compilation to have a chance to be heard in regions/venues that may otherwise not have been accessible.



WHO IS ELIGIBLE:



a) Any recording artist/band that is not currently under contract with a record company.

b) All music submitted must be 100% owned and copyrighted to entrant and master rights to the sound recording must be 100% controlled by the entrant. All submissions must be entrant's original work. Any song containing any "Samples" will be automatically disqualified. No song previously recorded and released through national distribution in any country will be eligible.

c) All entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of submitting material.



Submissions are open to a variety of genres including: Rock, Alt. Rock, Acoustic Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Alt. Country, Classical, World, Reggae, and Hip Hop. We want the best of the best of all genres representing independent music.

We will be looking for aggressive indie artists who have quality music. Most of the artists on our last compilation CD have television, film and touring credits. We are also working on concerts to produce with some of the artists in conjunction with our compilation CDs, and any artist who is chosen for our compilation CD will also be invited to participate in our Java With Javelyn Indie Music Nites held in Santa Monica, CA twice monthly. If you are selected, there is a production fee of $295 to be included on the compilation.
