"Millennium Music Conference 17 Open Mic and Trade Show by Rachel Rocks"

Betty Jo Rockwell came back up to the MMC for the 2nd year in a row from West Virginia. Betty Jo sometimes plays with her husband Scott, but this time she stood on her own two feet and amazed us with her talent. Her lyrics are also very intense and meaningful to many people's hearts. Her songs definitely touch your soul. We were privileged to be able to hear her showcase on Friday night at the Playhouse Cafe'. You can check out more about Betty Jo in my main article. - Whitey Noll- PA Musician Magazine

"Out and About by Rachel Rocks"

The first showcase we went to see was Betty Jo Rockwell and her husband Scott across the street at the Playhouse Cafe' They came to the MMC from West Virginia. Betty Jo has an amazing voice. She is actually a music teacher for her full time job so the Playhouse Cafe' was a great venue for her because she could easily converse with the kids and include them in her show. The kids were having a lot of fun dancing and just sitting and listening to their music. Betty Jo's music really reaches into your heart with their true meaning of life. - Whitey Noll- PA Musician Magazine

"Across the Desk by Whitey & Robin Noll"

During the Millennium Music Conference I really enjoyed hearing all of live music, not only from our acoustic stage, but I made it out to hear live music two nights in a row! The first night I started out with Rachel Rocks over at the Playhouse Cafe for Betty Jo Rockwell. Betty Jo's voice was crystal clear, I loved sitting there watching her perform with her husband. She's a great songwriter, I could've sat there and listened to her perform for hours. - Whitey Noll- PA Musician Magazine

"17th Millennium Music Conference Recap Part 1"

The evening featured plentiful showcase performances throughout the Harrisburg area, and I took in performances at three different venues. First, I headed across the road from the conference’s host hotel to the Playhouse Café to take in some acoustic and solo performances. First was Shepherdstown, West Virginia-based singer/songwriter Betty Jo Rockwell. Assisted by her husband, Scott, she displayed a clear, hearty and almost operatic voice on her selection of original folk and acoustic rock numbers, including an uplifting rendition of Bob Dylan’s “It’s All Over Now Baby Blue.” - Altoona Mirror
