During a recent interview with Yo Raps Magazine, Akhil discussed the concept behind SeshedUp.

The inception of Akhil Sesh's study of performance art began in Ireland at the age 5 in the form of musical theatre, classical piano, & devotional singing.
Sesh has lived in Detroit for the past 6 years where he studied Sociology at Wayne State university. After battling several obstacles that life presented, the strength of patience persevered & Akhil was able to independently release his debut project which eventually earned him a 2013 Detroit Music Award nomination for Outstanding Hip Hop Artist.
Currently in Los Angeles he has been working on a Musical Motion Picture Short due for Fall release.
