Dimitris Dourtmes Band

I was born in 1979 and raised in Thessaloniki (Greece). I have an electric guitar and harmony degree and some years ago i start learning, oud, saz and other instruments concerning the world music traditions! I have been a member of several bands playing guitar and singing, from Rock and Heavy Metal to R n B and Funk! At the moment i play with my band ''Dimitris Dourtmes Band'' and ocassionaly with other bands or duets!

The Band ''Dimitris Dourtmes Band'' was formed after the release of the CD and i am very happy to tell that it's members are all very good musicians and human beings and i am very proud to work with them!
We all in the band have played many styles of music as i have already refered and that creates a mix of thoughts and ideas without the narrow thinking of one specific kind of music!
