Southern Steel is a six piece Southern Rock Tribute Act, performing spot on covers of the Great Southern Rock Bands, such as The Outlaws, Allman Bros.,Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels Band, ZZ Top, 38 Special, Marshall Tucker, Molly Hatchet & More. They specialize in note for note renditions of the original performances.
They have opened shows for Dickey Betts & Great Southern, The Marshall Tucker Band , The Outlaws , Molly Hatchet, The Artimus Pyle Band, Foghat as well as Leslie West and Mountain. They have played throughout the Tri-State area notably at B.B. Kings, NYC, The Paramount Theater, Asbury Park, The Strand Theater, Lakewood, The Shea Center,The Starland Ballroom, Sayreville, Jenks Club, Pt. Pleasant as well as the Stone Pony, Asbury Park and many clubs and festivals in the Tri-State area.
